1. Who we are
DrawPoint Talent (Pty) Ltd ("DrawPoint", "we", "us") is a mining and engineering recruitment business operating across Africa and Australia. We are the responsible party for the personal information you submit through this website.
2. What we collect
Through this website we collect the information you give us in two forms:
- The client brief — your name, company, the role and site, engagement type, region, timeframe, email, phone, and any detail you choose to add about how your operation runs and what the best fit looks like.
- The candidate interim registration — your name, contact details, current location, discipline, seniority, availability, where you would work, the tickets and certificates you hold, and your CV if you attach one.
The interim registration is a stop-gap while our candidate platform prepares to open. Your record goes only to DrawPoint's recruitment team. When registration opens we carry it onto the candidate platform for you — the platform runs on Hired1st and PowerHouse Hub infrastructure, is ISO 27001 certified, and has its own privacy terms — and if you do not take up a platform profile, your interim record is deleted after 12 months.
3. Why we collect it
We use the information from a hiring enquiry solely to respond to you and discuss the roles you need filled. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
4. Your consent
By submitting a form and ticking the consent box, you agree to us storing and using your information for the purpose above, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) in South Africa and, where applicable, the Australian Privacy Act.
5. How we store and protect it
Enquiries are handled through our hosting and recruitment-technology infrastructure, which is certified to ISO 27001 and operated to audited data-security standards. Access is limited to the people who need it to act on your enquiry.
This website sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. The only information we hold is what you submit in the two forms above.
6. How long we keep it
We retain brief and candidate information only for as long as it is needed for recruitment purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Interim candidate records that have not been taken up as a platform profile are deleted after 12 months. You can ask us to remove your information at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
